My name is Julian, and I’m a writer, researcher, and I studied as an engineer. I co-founded Debacle Software, developer of the award-winning photography app Pano, and more recently I’ve been building Cast, a platform that makes it easy and fun to record, edit and publish a podcast.

Until I dropped out, I was a PhD student at the University of Toronto, working with Dr. Daniel Wigdor on high-performance touch interaction.

Have you heard of The Smashing Pumpkins? For a year I worked as a writer for them, conducting interviews, digging up history and so on.
